The Abhinay Project
The Abhinay Project is a remarkable endeavour that seeks to bring individuals with disabilities closer to the theatre, hoping to demonstrate how it can potentially alter their lives. The Project strives to gain insight into the current scenario and offer a better and more realistic outlook towards creating a more inclusive atmosphere in the corporate sector. This, along with an examination of CSR practices and how to use them to benefit the wider population, are also on the agenda.
The Abhinay Project and its kin provide an ideal opportunity to examine the potential of CSR and the possibilities of furthering disability in the business world. A vital ambition is to promote the integration of disabled persons into the workforce, along with suggestions for the same. Connecting with the Project serves as a silent endorsement of the company’s values, culture, and outlook.
Abhinay Project is a great chance for businesses to sensitize their personnel to persons with disabilities and cultivate equality. Even though equality is a noble goal, equity is what carries it out in practice. We aspire to illustrate this through our Project, serving as an example of equity being put into practice.

Goal
Abhinay Project was created with the aim of providing a safe, secure environment to the intellectually disabled where they could freely express their hopes, concerns and wishes. Through workshops, we hope to bring them out of their homes and provide them with the opportunity to take on meaningful roles in the production of theatrical plays, thereby allowing them to gain confidence and become active members of society by performing in front of family, friends, the public and media.
Strategy
Our team is committed to making meaningful contact with people who have disabilities and conducting workshops for them to identify and develop their talents. We will then have auditions to select them for a stage play. During the play, we will also host periodic discussions with disability experts on relevant topics such as mental and physical well-being, rights, opportunities, and governmental initiatives. In addition, we will track and report the mental and physical progress of the individuals participating in the play.

Impact
Zindagii is ecstatic to have executed a play with many people actively taking part in the backstage and on-stage processes. This production has made a significant impression on our viewers. Moreover, persons with disabilities, who are not used to taking part in the regular, hustling way of life due to their inadequate societal interactions, became familiar with various problems, such as loitering, and riding the metro and buses. This not only raised their visibility but also generated an understanding of their necessities in the general public.
Our next venture is going to connect to more individuals through digital media, podcasts, reports, and documentaries. We intend to forward our documentaries to numerous movie festivals around the globe and to exchange them with several NGOs and state offices related to persons with disabilities in order to carry out more fruitful work.
